President's Corner

We are now three weeks into the year and I hope everybody has settled into a routine and giving lots of grace to the challenges we are facing. For those returning to face to face school next week, the teachers and staff are looking forward to seeing everybody!

Just a couple of reminders:

  1. Our General Membership Meeting is Thursday night.
  2. Texas PTA wants to remind you to please return your census form if you haven't already. https://my2020census.gov/

Thank you for starting our 2020-2021 school year off right by joining the PTA! Bethany PTA earned Texas PTA's Head Start Award by ending August with 177 members.

If you haven't had a chance to join yet, it's not too late! Just visit bethanypta.org. After logging into your account, select Orders from the My Account menu. We want all of our Bethany families to have a voice in the PTA. Our next membership goal is 236 memberships by the end of September!

Don't forget to join us for our first General Membership Meeting of the year this Thursday, Sept. 3rd at 6 pm. You will hear the plans for how the PTA will be partnering with Bethany Elementary this school year. This meeting will be conducted online. Please click the link below to join our Zoom meeting: Zoom

The 2020-2021 Spirit Wear T-Shirts and Masks have now arrived!  We are working on the logistics for delivery and distribution now; stay tuned for more details.

Spirit Night will be at Chick Fil A location at Spring Creek & Coit Road in Plano from 4-8pm on September 17, a portion of all sales will go to benefit Bethany Elementary PTA.

Open Call - Volunteers VP

We have an opening on our PTA Board for a Volunteers VP.

Our current VP resigned for personal reasons and we need somebody willing to recruit and guide Grade Level Coordinators for this year.
