President's Corner
When we sent out our last newsletter at the end of our first full week of school, Bethany Elementary had the highest positive case percentage of any campus in PISD. I’m happy to report that we have had ZERO positive cases for two weeks in a row now! Thank you for reinforcing the messages of wearing masks during the mask mandate, washing hands, and maintaining social distance when possible. The district also changed out the filters in the schools HVAC system to higher efficiency ones, plus there is a parent led effort to donate standalone HEPA filters to the classrooms. All these efforts are helping to keep our students safe and healthy while keeping them in school, the best environment for them to learn.
