Dear Bethany Families,

As we move into September, it’s exciting to feel the cooler weather and the energy that comes with the new school year! We hope everyone has settled into their routines and is looking forward to all the fantastic events coming up.

We’re excited to kick off our After School Programs this September. These programs offer a fantastic way for students to explore new interests, learn new skills, and have fun with friends after the school day ends. Don’t miss out—check the newsletter for details and get your child signed up today. Family Game Night is also just around the corner. Mark your calendars for Friday, September 20th, from 6:00 to 7:30 PM. This free event is a great opportunity to meet other Bethany families. Please see details below to register in advance.  

A big shoutout to everyone who participated in our PTA General Membership Meeting! Your thoughts and feedback are invaluable, and we’d love to see even more parents and staff attend the next few meetings. Check the newsletter for upcoming dates and be sure to save them.

We always need more hands on deck! If you’re looking for a way to get involved, volunteering is a fantastic option. Whether it’s helping at events, assisting with after-school programs, or contributing behind the scenes, there’s a place for everyone. Don’t forget to complete your volunteer application and background check for this year at Plano Voly.

The PTA is thrilled to host our monthly Appreciation Breakfast for our dedicated staff and teachers. To make this event special, we’re seeking your help with breakfast item contributions.

Bethany Elementary is hosting a virtual peanut butter drive to support the North Texas Food Bank (NTFB) and their mission to close the hunger gap in North Texas by providing access to nutritious food. Through this virtual peanut butter drive and NTFB’s ability to stretch every dollar donated into three meals, your donation makes an incredible impact for food insecure children, seniors and families in our community.   To donate to the Bethany Elementary virtual peanut butter drive drive simply go to LINK HERE,  fill your cart with NTFB’s most needed items, and follow the steps to checkout.
