Message From Our President

Dear Bethany Families,

As we move further into the school year, our Bethany community continues to amaze with its spirit and dedication. Here are some exciting updates and upcoming events!

First, thank you to everyone who contributed to the success of our recent book fair. Every student received $15 Scholastic Bucks from the PTA to spend - fostering their love for reading and literacy.
Our Glow Run fundraiser is off to an amazing start! We’ve raised nearly $7,000 so far—an incredible achievement thanks to the enthusiasm of our students, teachers, and parents. Students have already earned Hat Day, Pajama Day, and extra recess with popsicles (further information below). We currently have 120 out of 267 students registered, so let’s keep the momentum going! If you haven’t registered your child yet, please do so. Also, don’t miss Field Day on Monday, November 11th - it’s sure to be filled with fun and teamwork for all students.

As we enter the season of Thanksgiving, a special thank you to our incredible teachers and staff for their hard work and dedication. Parents, please take a moment to share your appreciation when you see them.

Finally, volunteering is at the heart of Bethany’s success. If you’d like to get involved, please visit our website or reach out at president@bethanypta.org for opportunities. Field Day Reschedule

Field Day has been rescheduled to Monday, November 11th, due to potential weather on Friday. If you signed up to volunteer but can no longer attend, please update your slot in the Signup Genius link below as soon as possible. This will help us better plan for volunteer coverage. If you haven't signed up yet but see an available spot before Monday, and you have the time, we’d love to have you join us!

Important Reminder: All volunteers must have a completed background check through Voly. You can create an account and complete the background check at plano.voly.org. Unfortunately, without this, you will not be able to participate.

Glow Run!

Our Glow Run fundraiser has been a huge success so far, and we want to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who has donated or helped spread the word to family and friends. We have earned all our school wide incentives and information on that will be sent out soon!

There are still two weeks left in our fundraising campaign—fundraising ends on November 22nd! Let’s keep the momentum going! And don’t forget, the Glow Run event itself will take place on December 6th from 6-7pm. Thank you for your incredible support!

Help Us Show Appreciation for Our Teachers & Staff!

Dear Bethany Families,

The Bethany Elementary PTA is excited to host our monthly Appreciation Breakfast for our dedicated Teachers and Staff! To make this event a success, the PTA will be providing a variety of warm breakfast items, but we need your help to complete the meal.

Please consider signing up to bring one or more of the items listed below. All donations can be dropped off at the Front Office by Monday, November 18th.

This holiday season, let’s show our appreciation for the incredible teachers and staff at Bethany Elementary by celebrating Pie Day! We’re asking for your generous donations of pies to help make this event extra special.
